Transforming Communities for Inclusion

Bapu Trust is organizing the II TransAsia Conference on Transforming Communities for Inclusion in Bangkok, 4-7 November, 2014, at Hotel Prince Palace. This space, marked ‘private’ for now, will post news to participants from the Conference concerning readings, dialogues, outcomes, etc.

This space has been created to connect people with psycho-social disabilities from the Asian region around the topic of Human rights as framed by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

Bapu Trust for Research on Mind and Discourse (www.baputrust.org) is hosting this Space to:

– Facilitate sharing of research materials and reports on advocacy on the CRPD in the region relating to the II Asian conference of persons with disabilities, Bangkok, 4-7

– Connect with users and survivors of psychiatry / Persons with psycho-social disabilities in the Asian region specifically, and in Low and Middle Income Countries

– Create and share events and news about regional conferences, consultations and other events

– Act as a Resource Hub for different kinds of groups and organizations on good practices towards the Inclusion of persons with psycho-social disabilities
